أعلنت السلطات الهندية البدء بإجلاء قرابة 300 ألف شخص في ولاية كوجرات غربي البلاد قبيل وصول الإعصار “فايو” المتوقع في غضون يومين.
وقال مسؤول كبير في الولاية إن الارصاد توقعت أن يصل الإعصار في وقت مبكر صباح يوم الجمعة القادم موضحاً أنه تقرر إجلاء الأشخاص من 10 مناطق ساحلية مضيفاً أن جميع المدارس والكليات في المناطق الساحلية ستبقى مغلقة كتدبير وقائي كما سيتم إنشاء 67 مركزاً لإيواء النازحين.
